Sold in sets of 12, these large dry-erase templates are used for modeling reading and writing strategies in mini lessons during literacy blocks, Reader's and Writer's workshops, and content classrooms. Teachers use these instructional tools to provide students with visual models for infusing the teaching of thinking strategies into daily instruction. Consistent use of the visuals help students internalize the strategies, becoming independent readers and writers and skillful open-response testers. Students also use these dry-erase posterboards in cooperative, interest, and peer group activities.
