What is LINKS?
LINKS™ is a K-12 metacognitive instructional support system consisting of a vast array of teacher tools coupled with comprehensive teacher training.
LINKS™ strategies are comprised of tools and structures to help teach all students high-level content in all curricula areas. The LINKS™ Metacognitive Strategy System consists of research-based, instructional resource handbooks— "the Tools"— along with high-impact staff development— "the Structure"— specifically designed to help teachers differentiate instruction and conquer learned helplessness.
LINKS™ provides teachers with concrete tools that are integrated immediately into curricula content using state standards. LINKS™ will also help staff and districts meet their literacy objectives while providing unifying structures for consistency in instructional and assessment practice. Teachers learn how to multi-level and differentiate instruction in heterogeneous settings, and students learn how to become independent learners.
